What Sets us Apart 

Dr. Beverly Woss performs natural looking cosmetic dentistry. Your smile will be brighter, more attractive, but will not have that "fake" look. Dr. Woss believes in working with your existing dentition to conservatively create a beautiful smile. She will discuss all of your options with you. Many patients are pleased to find that the treatment plan Dr. Woss recommends may also be the least traumatic to your teeth and pocketbook!

Initial Oral Examination 

Your initial visit will begin with full mouth x-rays, followed by an oral examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and a discussion of treatment recommendations and options. At the initial visit, a prophylaxis (dental cleaning), will also be performed.

Cosmetic Dentistry 

You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns or porcelain veneers on the anterior teeth. These types of restorations can correct spaces, chips, fractures, discoloration of teeth and old fillings, as well as replace old and unsightly restorations. For the posterior teeth, we use porcelain fused to gold crowns, onlays or composite (white fillings). In addition to major cosmetic treatment, Dr. Woss also performs less invasive, less costly cosmetic treatments such as enameloplasty (cosmetic recontouring or filing) of teeth as well as dental bleaching. Dr. Woss will discuss all options available to you to help you achieve the beautiful smile you've always wanted. 

Many patients whos teeth are misaligned because they didnt wear their retainers or simply never had orthodontics, have found excellent cosmetic results with Dr. Woss' treatment utilizing Six Month Smiles. Dr. Woss has corrected problems such as crooked teeth and open spaces in as little as 2 months, transforming their smiles and changing their lives.

Teeth Bleaching 

Our state-of-the-art, in-office Power Bleaching system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for results in five days. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.

Enameloplasty/Cosmetic Contouring 

Many patients benefit from enameloplasty, the cosmetic recontouring or filing of teeth, to correct chips and wear due to previous trauma or grinding wear. Dr. Woss carefully files and polishes small increments from the incisal edges of misaligned teeth, to create a much more aesthetically pleasing smile. Patients who have undergone enameloplasty treatment are usually shocked at the wonderful difference it makes in their smiles, with no down-time and at a very affordable price.

Nightguards 

The main cause of tooth fracture in adults is night-time bruxism, or grinding. It is extremely important to protect teeth from night-time wear. Nightguards are advisable for any person who clenches or grinds their teeth in order to preserve their dentition. Wearing a nightguard can prevent tooth fracture and tooth loss resulting in costly dental treatment such as crowns and implants.

Fillings 

For simple cavities, we offer composite resin fillings and amalgam fillings. Composite fillings are tooth-colored, non-metal restorations that do not contain mercury. Amalgam fillings are silver-colored, long lasting metal restorations that do contain mercury. To restore larger cavities, a porcelain inlay, onlay or crown may be required.

Periodontal Treatment 

You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic). For patients with more advanced periodontal disease, a referral to a periodontist (gum specialist) may be warranted.

Dental Implants 

We will work with an implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance. Implants are considered the standard of care to replace missing teeth.

Mouth Guards 

Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. We custom make mouth guards in both soft and hard materials. Mouth guards can be colored customized to match team colors or reflect your personality!

Snoring/Sleep Apnea Devices 

For patients who suffer from night-time snoring or sleep apnea, we offer custom-fitted dental devices that can significantly help your symptoms with no surgery or trauma involved. These devices work by gently advancing the lower jaw forward, which helps to open the air-space and provide a more comfortable, healthful night's sleep.

Removable Dental Prosthesis 

For missing teeth, we can make dentures or removable partials for you. Metal-free partial dentures provide a viable cosmetic as well as comfortable alternative to old-fashioned dentures.
